About Kama
We have our challenge as our mission: to enhance and promote good health to all people of the world and Ghana particularly by production, distribution and sale of quality products and services in partnership with our affiliates worldwide. Our vision is to be a centre of excellence for the production of quality drugs and provision of services which are marketable worldwide.
Our Company
This
mission drives us to develop, quality innovative generic medicines
to reach out and help millions of people around the world. Our
headquarters can be located in Accra, Ghana and with our operations
spanning about 6 regions of Ghana.
We are one of the pharmaceutical industry leaders in Ghana, with an
estimated 10% share of the Ghanaian market. Being a leader comes
with responsibility.
This point out that we care about the impact we have on the people
and places touched by our mission to improve health.
This means that as a company in a developing country where disease
affecting millions of people and access to life-changing medicines
is a problem. We are committed to meet this challenge by providing
lower-priced medicines where they are needed most.

Our History
Our company has a rich but young history dating back to 1983 where
it started with only 3 staff.

Governance
The board is ultimately responsible for our companys corporate
governance and accountable for our activities, strategy and
performance.
We are a limited liability company incorporated on the 24th of
January, 1983 under the Companies code, 1963 (Act 179).
The group was incorporated on the 21st of December 1999, with
subsidiaries such as Kama Industries limited; Kama Health Services
limited Kama Clinic Limited, Kama Forex Bureau Limited, Kama Estates
and Kama Conference Centre Limited.
Two such subsidiaries Kama Health Service and Kama industries
limited is a force in the discovery developing, manufacturing and
marketing of pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare products.
